Currently leading engineering for adōpets and AME at Pet Loyalty. My co-CTO Cameron leads ShelterBuddy. We’re around 35 people across the three products, remote-first.

This quarter, I’m focused on:

• Shipping the next phase of AME for the PetSmart rollout.
• Hardening adōpets’ adoption pipeline for international scale.
• A governed AI-assisted engineering system that’s already in production on our Brazilian engineering team.

Reading:

• The Pragmatic Engineer archives.
• Re-reading parts of An Elegant Puzzle (Will Larson).

Learning about:

• Compliance & regulation across four countries (SOC 2, ISO, ADA).
• Producing music with AI. I’m bad at it, in the best way.
• Whatever the latest plant on my balcony decides to teach me.

Not doing right now:

• Fundraising. We’re not raising this cycle.
• Speaking engagements outside the shelter / pet tech space.
• Side projects unrelated to Pet Loyalty.
